Not having a TV licence, declaring no set ages ago, just watch old DVD box sets and maybe the odd programme on youtube.. although crime genre def not a favourite, was watching The Streets of San Francisco with Richard Hatch and guest criminal Mark Hamill a few months ago- made a year or two I guess before Hamill picked up a light sabre I guess- great episode- looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger was in one of the episodes, will have to watch that one.
Used to watch Hill Street Blues when it came out and a few years back bought the DVD set of "The Shield" watched them all then went to charity shop. Great drama.
Will have to look up a Kojak or two. Stateside TV series, were just the best. Anyone think the 70s and 80s were the best for stateside Cop TV shows?
I looked up C.H.I.P.S the other month for the American cars in it, and that looked like a really lame show, not all all something that stands the test of time. The Streets of San Francisco looks good.
