Arken Optics brand new multi-spectral riflescope

I also can’t see the benefit of a multi spectral scope if you already have a thermal spotter and nv scope …
imo nv is 100% foolproof for identifying the quarry
Think l tend to agree, we started to use spotters to save us having the rifle shoulderd all the time which when thermal became affordable we used them and now we're talking haveing two lots of thermal and night vision, l suppose it depends on what your using them for but l would say 90% of people wouldn't need or use them to there full extent.

Is that a dual lens Russ, similar to the Thermtec or seperate 19 or 25mm lens versions?
Regards
Mick
If you are referring to the Zulus, the 5-20 and 3-12 are different scopes - although the only difference between them is the focal length of the objective lens
If you are referring to the multi spectral scope, it has two completely separate sensing systems, thermal and visible/IR
The user will be able to switch between displaying the image from thermal or visible and when using the Picture in Picture function, having the thermal image on the main screen with the visible image in the PiP or vice versa
The thermal system will have a germanium objective lens and thermal sensor, while the visible/IR system will have a glass lens and visible sensor
From the photographs, it looks like the visible system is stacked on top of the thermal system

Cheers

Bruce

Sry, I might have missed this but when will the thermal actually be up for sale/pre-order?

I'd like to get on the list when it's ready...
Cheers in advance

Thanks for that Bruce, sounds very tempting I have to say!

One would hope you are…
You two really like to put people down dont you .
Yes im back from my all inclusive paid forum holiday . 🤣🤣🤣

So i logged on earlier and noticed you have tagged me, as usual completely out of context, my post to FX was just a reply to his and in no way bringing anyone down.
After serving a week ban for circumventing the swear filter calling me a c..t over a post that had no bearing or relevance to you its now taken less than 24 hours on your return to start stirring the shit again, you either have mental health issues or very stupid.

Looks like the NV section is back on its arse again, shame.

Oooo...what happened!
I'm guessing there's a different thread where that chat continued. The above posts seem quite mild.
But agreed...shame to lose anyone to Internet ego rubbish from all parties involved.
To be honest lets not go into the whole who said what thing as it will probably not help the situation , i don't agree with whats happened but neither do i have all the facts and do not wear the mods hat, far better to just wait the fortnight and hope it doesn't happen again.

Yeah, it's a bit quieter in here today, lol.

It's a shame the kids can't play nice and share their toys with the other children.

Good evening all, hope you all enjoyed the British Shooting Show, and didn't drool too much on the goodies on display?

I have the Zulus ZHD312R and multi-spectral TNC225 right here 😍 ready to meet-up with Bruce and Billy (@mealiejimmie & @GPCBILL).

My initial low-light testing showed they're both awesome, although be aware these are pre-production prototypes, that the Arken team grabbed from the factory on their way here.
So for example the TNC225 includes a visible red laser pointer, which will be absent on the UK retail models.

Both will be more refined firmware-wise before hitting the shops too.

Judging by the expectant comments under my Arken Shooting Show videos, I think/hope many of you will eagerly be awaiting our review videos, on my channel: 👉 RussDouglas222 👈

Cheers. Russ
